[applause] thank you for that. it's a pleasure to be here. thank you governor bush and the foundation for excellence. it will probably come as no shock to anyone in the room that we don't agree on everything. notwithstanding his relationship to my -- one thing i think we both agree on is the importance of having strong voices on championing the cause of education as a critical element of our nation's agenda and building a strong coalition in the center to demand reform of the public education system. the system that quite tankly, is still not working for too many of our students. governor, i really admire that building on your succes
